  • In order to mount the Big Basket Assembly or Little Basket Assembly to your bike, you will need a front fork that has threaded mounting points on its blades and a crown mounting hole.

Mounting points at the dropouts or axle are optional, but will allow you to extend the set of 400mm support struts all the way down to the lowest mounting point.

If you already have a front rack that can carry a basket, you can attach the Big Basket or Little Basket with zip-ties.

    A note on brake types:

Cantilever brakes: depending on your canti brake setup, the straddle cable might pass in front of the crown mounting hole for the strut. It may be possible to install a longer straddle cable to allow for more clearance. I am working on some strut variants to integrate well with cantilever brakes.

Road caliper brakes: I have not designed or tested the current strut for road caliper brake compatibility.

  • Unless your carbon fork is specifically designed and rated for front-loading, it is not recommended to install this product on your carbon fork.
